"It all started with a biggest loser contest at work. I began walking during my lunch break, and became very good friends with a co-worker that walked with me. One of the engineers that I worked with suggested that my friend Jeannie and I could walk the Knoxville Covenant Health Half Marathon, so we decided we would give it a try.
