No Boundaries Begin to Run Training Program - Fall 2010 Session

Next Steps Training Program (10K Distance)
The goal of the Next Steps training program is to help beginner runners complete
their first 10K or intermediate runners achieve their 10K time goal. This is a great
Next Steps program for participants in our current No Boundaries Begin to Run program.
The program is designed for people currently running 20 minutes comfortably.
Program participants receive:

A complete 12-week Training Program and calendar with detailed workouts
●
Weekly coach led training session with hydration provided
●
Series of seminars on topics such as injury prevention, nutrition, and stretching
●
Weekly e-mail from the coach with tips, advice and motivation/encouragement
●
E-mail support – the coach will answer individual questions regarding training and running related issues
●
Weekly Group Runs available from Fleet Feet Sports
●
Technical fiber shirt & water bottle

Long Distance Training Program (Half Marathon Distance)
Are you're looking to . . .

- achieve a race distance you've never run before, or
- have others to run with as you train . . .
then come join our one of our training programs.
The goal of the Long Distance training program is to help runners
achieve their long distance running goals in a positive and fun group atmosphere.
The Half Marathon program is designed for people currently running 6 miles comfortably.
Program participants receive:

Triathlon 101 Training Program - Build to Sprint Distance Triathlon
You are looking for a challenge . . .
the triathlete in you is screaming to come out . . .
You know it will be a formidable challenge but you are not sure whether you can swim, bike, and run the distance.
You are intrigued!! This training program can help. The goal of the program will be for an athlete to complete the
Trideltathon Triathlon in April.
This is an 8 week program for the novice triathlete. You should be able to comfortably run 20 minutes to begin this program.
Triathlon 201 Training Program - Build to Olympic Distance Triathlon
Ever wanted to complete an olympic distance triathlon? . . .
Learn open water swim techniques? . . . Get faster transition times?
You have done the sprint triathlons and are looking for a new challenge.
This program is for the athlete wanting to try a longer distance triathlon or improve individual skills.
An olympic distance is a 1500 meter swim, 40K bike and a 10K run. The goal of the program will be to complete the
Tri Fall Creek Falls Triathlon in August.
This is a 10 week program for the intermediate triathlete. You should be able to comfortably run a 5K to begin this program.
Triathlon 301 Training Program - Build to Half Ironman Distance Triathlon
Ready to try an endurance event? . . . Test your limits?
This program is for the athlete wanting to learn about periodization training, improve individual skills, and push the body further.
A half ironman distance is a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and a 13.1 mile run. The goal of the program will be for an athlete to complete the
Atomic Man Triathlon in September.
This is a 16 week program for the intermediate to advanced triathlete. You should be able to comfortably run a 10K to begin this program.
Triathlon Training Program participants receive:

A complete training schedule and calendar with detailed workouts
●
Weekly training session led by a USA Triathlon Certified coach
●
Pool swim training sessions for Tri 101 program
●
Open water swim training sessions for Tri 201 & 301 programa
●
Educational clinics including: bike maintenance, race day prep, transition set-up and nutrition planning
●
Weekly e-mail from the coach with tips, advice and motivation/encouragement
●
E-mail support – the coach will answer individual questions regarding training
and running related issues
●
Technical fiber shirt, water bottle and swim cap – valued at $30
Each training session will focus on a different phase of training, from swimming to transitioning.
To participate you will need at a minimum, running/walking shoes, bicycle, helmet, and a willing
mind and body. We'll supply you with the knowledge to complete your triathlon.
