On Sept. 22 triathletes rolled old school and raced the Anchor Splash triathlon backwards. First Run, then Bike, then Swim! With a mass run start, the racers went out with a bang to run through the campus of the University of Tennessee for 3 miles. Then, it was back to transition to hop on the bike for a hilly, fast and quick 6 mile bike ride. We hope you all saved your energy to jump in the pool for the final 300 yard leg for the finish on the pool deck. Fleet Feeters showed up in full force to close out a great season of training, racing and fun. Jennifer Davis, Fleet Feet Training member and super swimmer said of the format "The swim last was awful" but was still all smiles when she finished and then took home first place in her division.
We look forward to seeing everyone next year tri'ing on!
