October is breast health awareness month and at Fleet Feet Knoxville, we are all about PINK! We have tons of pink footwear, apparel and accessories from your favorite brands to choose from. So show your support for this important cause by rocking PINK! Nicole, our own Fleet Feet FIT Specialist, is decked out in head to toe PINK. She is wearing our one of our brand new Bani Bands, a Susan G. Bani Bands - Just in at Fleet Feet are soft grip, adjustable Bani Band headbands. With custom made prints, you won't find the same prints on any other brand. The bands are super cute and, Bani Bands employes sewers both in China and here in the good ole US of A. Bani Band's founder, Renee Hanson, has roots in Knoxville. Her mother lives here and she and 5 sewers make Bani Bands. We love supporting local business!

 ASICS GT 1000 2 PR - ASICS has teamed up with Right Action for Women breast cancer education, a charitable services fund of the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF), to help provide assistance to women who are at increased risk for breast cancer. From October 1 to October 31, 2013, ASICS America will support the fight against breast cancer by donating $2.00 per pair of shoes to Right Action for Women.

Did you know that drivers can more easily recognize the human form when runners wear multiple points of light and drivers can see runners who wear proper visibility gear from SIX TIMES the distance than runners who don't? Also, most pedestrians are hit between 6 pm and 9 pm. The sun is already starting to set earlier and next month, the time will fall back for Daylight Savings Time, making it darker even earlier. At Fleet Feet Knoxville, we want to make sure you are safe out there and have worked hard with many of your favorite vendors to carefully select safety products for you to keep you bright, Seen and Lit in low light.
