Fleet Feet Hustles Through Sevierville

The Santa Hustle Smokies 5k and Half Marathon was a festive success for the Fleet Feet Knoxville family this December! This was the final race for the Fall 2013 Long Distance training members, who competed in the Half Marathon. It was a cold, wet morning that only got colder, but the Fleet Feet Knoxville team still managed an impressive turnout on the award podium, and to set a few personal records. Maybe it was the cookies and candy on the course, or the promise of the indoor water park at Wilderness at the Smokies that made our feet so fleet. More likely, it was all the hard work and dedication put in throughout the Fall training season, both by our runners and our coaches. Congratulations to everyone who came out to run and walk, and a big thanks to all the cheerleaders for all their support!
