The Power of Running movement was designed to seek out and recognize inspiring individuals in our local running community. In 2016, we did just that, honoring three amazing women. While going through all the nominations, we were inspired by the community and the spirit of giving back so many of you embody. That's why for 2017 we are launching two new scholarships for our training programs: the Karen Rookard No Boundaries Scholarship (Knoxville) and the Kenneth Bell No Boundaries Scholarship (Maryville) to allow one person to join each of our No Boundaries training programs at no cost to them.
Scholarships are awarded based on the testimony of past participants. We're looking for people who give back to others, but may need someone to give to them. If you know someone who works hard to support their community, and you would like to see them participate in a fun and healthy activity with the support of a group, nominate them today!
Rules and Requirements
- To submit a nomination, you must have participated in one of our training programs
- Nominations must be 500 words or less
- Nominations must be submitted at least one week before the start of the training program
